My U.S. history and government videos as a course in the Voovo app: lessons, practice questions and a study plan to your exam date.
My videos explain each topic. In the app you practice it with questions, see what you still don't know, and follow a plan until the exam.

Practice on your phone, review on your laptop. Your progress is the same on both.
AP® follows the College Board's periods and units, and the Regents course follows the state's 11 key ideas. The college courses follow a typical survey semester.
Put events in order, pick the answer, fill in the missing name or date. Every answer is explained.
Each unit shows what you know and what still needs work, so you know where to spend your time.
In my videos I explain U.S. history and government in plain language. In the app you answer questions on each topic, spread out over the weeks, so it sticks until your exam.

Multiple choice, fill in the blank, ordering, matching and sorting questions on names, dates, court cases and causes. Every answer is explained.

What you get wrong comes up again within a few days. What you know comes up later, so the first units are still fresh on exam day.

I'm Keith Hughes. I taught U.S. History and AP® Government at McKinley High School in Buffalo for 14 years. In 2007 I started HipHughes History on YouTube, and in 2012 I was one of ten winners of the YouTube Next EDU Guru award.
I think a long time ago I figured out that kids are really smart. They just don't speak in academic kind of discourse. So I think that what my videos do is try to speak in student language.
Now those videos are the base of six courses in the Voovo app: two for AP®, one for the Regents and three for college.

AP® U.S. History or AP® U.S. Government and Politics if you're in an AP® class and taking the College Board exam in May. The Regents course if you're in New York and taking the U.S. History and Government Regents exam. U.S. History I (to 1877), U.S. History II (since 1865) or Intro to American Government if you're in a college survey course with one of those names, or something close.
Everything I explain in my videos is in the course. On top of that you get questions on every topic, in your course's order, and a plan to your exam date.
Voovo's team writes them from my videos. Experts review the questions before they go into a course.
No. These are my own courses, built with Voovo. The College Board and the New York State Education Department don't make or endorse them.
