Every topic, explained
The course is split into topics and lessons. Each one explains the concept before it asks you anything, so you are not tested on something you never heard before.
- The full course
- Topic by topic

All five units of the 2024 course framework, with practice on the question types you'll actually see.
The College Board rebuilt AP Psychology in 2024. A lot of what you'll find online still teaches the old version.
The course was reorganised into five units. Older prep material is still laid out the old way, so its unit numbers don't match what your teacher is using.
Multiple choice is stimulus-based now. You read a scenario, a graph or a study description and apply the concept, instead of picking the right definition.
The whole 2024 framework, unit by unit and topic by topic — the same numbering your teacher uses, from 1.3 The Neuron and Neural Firing through 5.5 Treatment of Psychological Disorders.

The whole course is broken into topics and lessons, so you always know which part you are on and which part you have not touched.
Each lesson comes with questions — ordering, matching, fill the blank, multiple choice — so you find out what you actually know.
What you get wrong returns in a few days. What you know returns later. You remember the first topics at your exam.

The lessons explain the material. The questions check whether you actually understand it. The app brings the topics back before you would forget them, and answers you when you get stuck.

Order the steps of exocytosis. Match each neural structure to what it does. Fill in the blank. You find out what you know by answering, which is also how the exam will ask.

What you got wrong returns in a few days, what you know returns much later. So Unit 1 is still there in May, and you are not relearning the whole framework the week before.

Ask about anything in the course and you get an answer from the course material itself, along with the lesson it came from. No weak sources, no hallucinations.

“Yo I don't know if you still make videos but keep it up! I'm taking AP Psychology right now and you have hands down the clearest and most thorough explanations I have seen yet. It hits that sweet spot between simple to understand and complex enough to contain all necessary detail.”
Both from the College Board. Your school may set an earlier internal deadline than the first one.
The final deadline to order your exam. After it, there's a $40 late fee per exam.
The AP Psychology exam itself. Late testing runs the following week.

Put in the date of your exam and the course spreads itself across the weeks you have, instead of leaving all of it to the end.
Ordering, matching, fill the blank, multiple choice, flashcards — the same idea comes back from more than one angle, so you don't just memorise the answers

Hi, I'm Dr. Steven Kushner. For nearly two decades, I've taught psychology as both a former college professor and a current AP Psychology teacher.
My passion is neuroscience, and I specialize in translating complex brain processes into clear, engaging lessons that stick.
That's what this course is: the same lessons, in the order your class teaches them, with practice on the parts that never stay put.

The current one. The course follows the 2024 framework's own unit and topic numbering, so 1.3 in the course is 1.3 in your class.
Yes. His channel has 162 free lessons and they're good. What the free version doesn't do is put them in the framework's order, ask you questions, or bring Unit 1 back in April when you last looked at it in September.
No. Everything in the app has a checkable answer — ordering, matching, multiple choice, fill the blank — so it can't mark an AAQ or an EBQ. What it does drill is the research methods, study design and content those two questions are built on, which is where most of the marks are actually lost. For the writing itself, use your teacher and the College Board's scored sample responses.
That's a normal reason to use it. The course doesn't assume your teacher has covered anything in particular — you pick the unit you need.
No one can promise that, and anyone who does is selling you something. In May 2025, 14.4% of the 334,960 students who sat the exam got a 5 and 70.5% got a 3 or better. What this does is make sure you've actually practiced the material rather than just read it.
It's a study course inside the Voovo app, built with Dr. Steven Kushner, who teaches AP Psychology in a public high school and has taught psychology for over 20 years. It isn't a tutor and it isn't a replacement for the class — it's the practice between lessons. Pricing will be on this page when the course opens; sign up and we'll email you then.
